This listing is a Beautiful 18ct Yelllow Gold Victorian Old Cut Diamond Starburst Brooch.

The centre of the brooch is set with a 4mm Old Cut Round Diamond in a high, 8 claw setting. Surrounding the centre diamond are 10 rays, each grain set with 30 Old European Cut diamonds graduating from 2.25 - 0.75mm. The Starburst Shaped Brooch measures approximately 26 x 25 mm and weighs 5.1 grams.

This brooch has a removable pin, which is typical of the era allowing versatility.

The back of the brooch features a hinged pin with a hook fastening.

The brooch is Stamped 18 although the date letter and maker's mark is very worn and undistinguishable on one edge.
