This listing is a Striking example of craftsmanship of the era. Art Deco Platinum Diamond Plaque Bar Brooch, circa 1920s.

Handmade intricate openwork houses approximately 2.60ct of Old European and Rose Cut diamonds milgrain set in platinum. The Plaque Brooch, iconic of it's time features a central 4mm Old European Cut, flanked by a range of Rose Cut and Old Cut Diamonds ranging from 2mm down to 1.mm.

The Rectangular Brooch measures approximately 70 x 20 mm and weighs 14 grams.

The back of the brooch features a hinged pin with a screw barrel fastening.
