18ct Yellow Gold Antique Opal and Diamond Cluster Ring (Pre Owned).

Stunning Antique Opal and Diamond Cluster Ring set with 5mm Round Cabochon Cut Opal with fantastic flashes of colour and fire. This dazzling stone is set in 12 claws of 18ct Yellow Gold in a raised central setting surrounded by 12 round cut diamonds each measuring 1mm and all claw set within a Rex head setting, typical of the era. Either side of the Cluster is a 2.75mm round old cut diamond claw set on a solid tapered shank.

The ring is hallmarked Birmingham 18ct with the date letter “b” for 1901.
